‘Interloper’ explores the concepts of isolation, exclusion and change as experienced by those who push the boundaries of what is perceived to be normal. As individuals and groups face both subtle and blatant discrimination on a daily basis, the hope for change grows stronger along with a need to belong. ‘Interloper’ is a response to regional Western Australia’s changing demographic, a communication of complex situations.
